Our services

Arrival Support

The first 72 hours in a new country with a sick child are the hardest. Arrival support means that when you land, you already know how you are getting to your lodging, what your first appointment requires, where to buy food, and who to message when something is confusing.

What’s included

  • A written arrival plan: airport to lodging to first appointment
  • Personal meet-and-greet at the airport and full transfer — on arrival and on departure
  • A practical orientation: groceries, pharmacy, SIM cards, transit basics
  • First-appointment preparation: documents to bring, where to check in
  • Ongoing personal support and consultation throughout your family’s entire stay

What’s not included

  • Meeting you inside customs or immigration areas — access is restricted
  • Any influence over border officers’ decisions at entry
  • Medical transport — arranged with qualified providers when clinically required
  • 24/7 emergency response — emergencies always go to 911

Who it’s for

  • Families arriving in Cincinnati for a confirmed care visit
  • Families arriving with limited English or first-time international travelers
  • Sponsors who want to know the family they support lands softly

Before we begin

  • Confirmed travel dates and lodging
  • A scheduled first appointment or admission
  • Contact details that work while traveling (roaming or messaging app)

What to expect

How it typically works

Every case is different, and no step below carries a guaranteed timeframe — but the order stays the same.

  1. Pre-arrival plan

Before you fly, you receive your arrival plan and checklists.

  2. Landing day

Transportation is coordinated; your coordinator is reachable as you settle in.

  3. Orientation

We walk you through the essentials of daily life near your lodging.

  4. First appointment

You arrive prepared, with the right documents, at the right entrance, on time.

About fees

Every case is different, so fees for arrival support are determined individually during the review of your case — and always confirmed with you in writing before any paid work begins.

FAQ

Common questions

What if our flight is delayed or cancelled?
Your arrival plan includes what to do and who to message. We adjust transportation and notify what can be adjusted — airline decisions themselves are outside anyone’s control.
Is someone physically with us on day one?
Yes. We meet your family at the airport, provide full transfer in both directions — on arrival and on departure — and remain personally available for support and consultation throughout your family’s entire stay in the United States.

An independent service

Cincy Kids Bridge is an independent care-coordination service. It is not affiliated with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center or any government agency. We do not provide medical or legal advice and cannot guarantee hospital acceptance, treatment outcomes, visa approval, or entry into the United States.
