Terms of Use
Effective date: January 1, 2026 · Last updated: January 1, 2026
Draft — not yet in force
This document is a working draft prepared for review by qualified U.S. legal counsel. It does not take effect until reviewed, approved, and published with an effective date.1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cincy Kids Bridge website (cincykidsbridge.org) and the coordination services described on it. By using the website or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new effective date, and continued use after changes means acceptance.
2. Eligibility and parental authority
Our services relate to the care of children. By submitting an inquiry about a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you act with the documented authorization of the parent or legal guardian. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
3. What our services are — and are not
Cincy Kids Bridge provides independent, non-clinical care-coordination services: organizing medical records, coordinating referrals to healthcare providers, coordinating documents that may support visa applications, and practical travel, lodging, interpretation, arrival, and follow-up logistics. We act only with your authorization and only as a coordinator and representative for practical matters.
4. No professional relationship created
Use of this website or our services does not create a physician-patient, hospital-patient, attorney-client, or agency relationship with any hospital, clinician, law firm, or government body, and does not make Cincy Kids Bridge your medical provider or legal representative. We are not an agent of any hospital or government agency.
5. No medical, legal, immigration, or emergency advice
Nothing on this website is medical advice, legal advice, or immigration advice. Content is general information only. Decisions about diagnosis and treatment belong to qualified clinicians; immigration questions belong to qualified immigration professionals. This website and our services are not for emergencies — in an emergency, contact local emergency services (911 in the United States).
6. Independent hospital decisions
Hospitals and clinicians independently decide whether to review, accept, schedule, or treat any patient, and on what terms. We do not control and cannot bind any provider.
7. No guarantees
We do not guarantee hospital acceptance, appointment availability, treatment outcomes, the accuracy of any provider’s estimate, visa issuance, entry into the United States, or any particular timeline or cost. Any statement of expectation is an estimate made in good faith, not a promise.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
- Obtain and hold the right to share any records or documents you provide.
- Keep your contact details current so time-sensitive updates reach you.
- Make travel and financial decisions responsibly, including the warnings we publish about nonrefundable purchases.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access others’ data, no scraping or bulk copying of content, no submission of malicious code, no impersonation, and no use of forms to send spam or unrelated solicitations.
10. Accounts
The website currently operates without user accounts. If account features are introduced, additional terms will apply, including your responsibility to protect your credentials.
11. Electronic communications
By providing contact details and consenting to be contacted, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically (email, and where you opt in, phone or messaging) about your inquiry and case. Consent for marketing communications is always separate and optional.
12. Fees, payments, cancellation, and refunds
Coordination fees are determined individually for each case during its review and are set out, together with payment schedules, cancellation rights, and refund rules, in a written service agreement provided before any paid service begins. Fees for coordination are separate from all amounts charged by hospitals, airlines, lodging, insurers, translators, or other third parties. Payments intended for a hospital are never accepted or held by Cincy Kids Bridge — medical care is paid directly to the provider. [Cancellation and refund terms subject to counsel review.]
13. Third-party providers and links
Hospitals, airlines, lodging providers, interpreters, and other third parties act under their own terms and responsibility. Links to external websites are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement or partnership. References to any hospital are factual references only; no affiliation is implied.
14. Intellectual property
The website’s content, design, logo, and text are the property of Cincy Kids Bridge or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view, print, and share pages for personal, non-commercial use; any other reproduction requires written permission.
15. Feedback and submissions
If you send us feedback or suggestions about the service or website, you grant us the right to use them to improve our services without obligation to you. This section does not apply to personal or medical information, which is handled under the Privacy Policy.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it, and is incorporated into these Terms.
17. Disclaimers of warranties
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information is complete or current at all times.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cincy Kids Bridge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions made by hospitals, consular or border authorities, or other third parties. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. [Limitation structure subject to counsel review.]
19. Indemnification
[Reserved — an indemnification clause will be included only if approved by counsel.]
20. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end website access or decline an inquiry where these Terms are violated, where information provided is false, or where we cannot responsibly provide the service. You may stop using the website and our services at any time; termination rights for paid services are set out in the service agreement.
21. Governing law and venue
These Terms are expected to be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, with venue in the courts located in Hamilton County, Ohio, subject to counsel review and to any mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence.
22. General provisions
If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any written service agreement, are the entire agreement about website use. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer.
