Getting Started as an International Family

Considering treatment abroad for your child is a serious decision, usually made under stress. This page gives you the honest overview first — what the journey involves, what it can and cannot promise, and what your very first step looks like.

What the journey usually involves

Most international care journeys follow the same broad path: preparing medical records, a hospital’s independent review, a decision about acceptance, cost planning, visa applications, travel, treatment, and follow-up at home.

The full picture is on our How It Works page. What matters at the start is simpler: no one — not us, not any agency — can promise acceptance, costs, visas, or outcomes. What can be promised is an organized, honest process.

What your first step looks like

You complete a short inquiry form with your contact details and the general type of help you need. No medical records. No child’s full identity. No payment.

A coordinator reviews your inquiry, contacts you, and talks through your situation. If coordination genuinely fits, we explain the next steps and what they involve. If it does not, we tell you that too.

Questions worth asking any coordination service

Whether you work with us or anyone else, ask these questions — honest services answer them gladly:

  • Are you affiliated with the hospital, and how are you paid?
  • Can you guarantee acceptance or a visa? (The honest answer is no.)
  • How do you protect my child’s medical information?
  • What exactly is included in your fees, in writing?
  • What happens if the hospital declines the case?

Not sure what applies to your family?

Every case is different. Tell us your situation and a coordinator will explain which steps matter for you — honestly, and in plain language.

One clear point of contact, from anywhere in the world

Begin with a short inquiry — contact details only, no medical records. A coordinator will explain what applies to your family.
